Alchemy Stars’ Best Detonators: The Best Detonator Units in Alchemy Stars

Detonators are one of the four unit classes in Alchemy Stars. You can think of Detonators as debuffers, as many of them have ways to inflict status effects on enemies. Most of the time, these status effects also increase the amount of damage enemies take, so Detonators usually set up marks on a target then set them all off at once for a big explosion of damage, hence the name!

There are roughly 24 Detonator units in the game, so which ones should you focus on? We’ve got a quick rundown on some of the best Detonators units in the game right here in our Alchemy Stars’ best Detonators guide!

Sharona

Sharona’s active and equipment skills focus on applying dragontooth marks. Each stack of dragontooth increases the amount of damage dealt by her active skill and final chain combo attack. Since her active skill does 300% base damage, a fully marked target will receive big damage!

Regal

Regal has a special resource called vis. He starts battles with 10 vis, and gains more with enemies nearby, and when he’s in critical health. His active skill costs 10 vis to use, and it puts him in an augmented state where he can attack diagonally. Normal attacks and chain combo deal more damaged while he’s augmented. When he is fully broken through, he can regain vis from slain enemies.

Charon

Charon’s active skill hits three columns or rows, with the center column/row taking extra damage. This skill does 300% base damage, and it also has a chance to generate red tiles when Charon is fully broken through. Her equipment skill also makes her normal attacks ignore defense, giving her extreme offense.

Sinsa

Sinsa’s active skill attacks enemies in a fan-shape area around him, with enemies taking extra damage the closer they are to him. All of his attacks inflict shatter, which reduces defense and stacks up to five times. Use normal attacks and chain combos first to build up shatter stacks, then use his active skill for big damage.

Areia

Areia’s active increases her attack by 25% for the round, and her equipment skill makes her attacks penetrate as well. When her active skill is enabled, her chain combo will instantly kill any enemies’ whose HP is lower than Areia’ attack times 1.5. Activate her active skill, then try to chain combo as many enemies as you can for explosive results.

Michael

Michael’s active lets him dash to a location, dealing damage to enemies and dealing extra damage to healthier targets. He finishes with an instant chain combo attack on the spot, which deals damage in a surrounding cluster. His equipment skill grants him a stack of silent thunder, which increases his normal attack damage equal to 2.5% HP of the current the target. Michael is the ultimate tool for taking down hardy enemies with high HP.
