It’s been almost a week since Alchemy Stars got its ‘Global’ release for iOS and Android devices and it’s only natural that new players have a ton of questions about the game and its mechanics.
A very popular search at the moment is about Alchemy Stars Breakthrough and how it works. In this article we are going to tell you everything that you need to know about it. So, let’s get right into it with answering first the most obvious question.
What exactly is a character ‘Breakthrough’?
To put it simply, Breakthrough is a way for your Aurorians to gain passive stats or enhance their skills.
Well that sounds great right? But that leads us to the next question.
How can an Aurorian breakthrough?
Every time you recruit a character that you already have, that’s a duplicate, or simply a ‘dupe’. These characters, will automatically convert into materials. What kind of materials? The one you’ll get a character-specific ‘Solamber‘ and the other is ‘Heartstone‘.
The character-specific Solamber, is what enables breakthroughs.
OK great, and how many times a character can do that? Is there a limit?
Maximum Number of Breakthroughs
The total number of available ‘Breakthrough’ stages a character has, is equal to its ‘Aurorian Magnitude‘. What does that mean? A 3 star character has a maximum level three Aurorian Magnitude, so it can breakthrough three times.
With every stage breakthrough, you’ll notice a change to the corresponding ratings of Aurorian Magnitude.
In order to unlock a Breakthrough stage, you first need to unlock its previous stage. You can’t just jump from stage 1 to 3 or 4. The progression should be, stage one then stage two and so on.
Overall, the process is very simple once you understand the basics. If you have any questions or there’s something that you would like us to add, let us know in the comment section down below.
