Base Camps in Pokemon Legends: Arceus will be your go-to point when you are out exploring the wilderness. In these spots, you can do things such as heal, change your Pokemon out, sleep, craft, report research progress, and change your item inventory. With each area of the game you unlock, you will set up a new camp. Here is where every base camp will be in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Typically, you’ll get one by default when entering a new area and then one that unlocks by playing the chapter.
Fieldlands Camp
This is the very first camp you will have by default in the game. To get it, all you have to do is set out on your trial that will test if you are accepted into the Survey Corps.
Heights Camp
The second camp requires some battles to unlock and is done during the A Request from Mai mission. Once you win your fight with Rei, head out to the Obsidian Fieldlands where Volo will show you how to surprise a Pokemon in order to make battling and catching them easier. You’ll then fight Mai and her Munchlax. Follow her up to Deertrack Heights after, where you will battle an Alpha Kricketune. Once you complete these, the camp will automatically be set up in that area on top of Deertrack Heights.
Mirelands Camp
This area is located by the Golden Lowlands in the Crimson Mirelands and is the default camp for the chapter. You can go here once you unlock the ability to visit the Crimson Mirelands.
Bogbound Camp
The Bogbound Camp is located between the Sludge Mound and Scarlet Bog in the Crimson Mirelands. To unlock it, you’ll have to do the quest Setting Up the Bogbound Camp during the Arezu’s Predicament mission. To start, talk to Odo at the Sludge Mound and then follow him to the marked spot on your map. You will then have to beat three Stunky. They are Poison and Dark Type, so be ready for a tricky fight. If you have a Ground type or something that knows Ground type moves, they shouldn’t be too hard. Once you beat them, you’ll unlock the Bogbound Camp.
Beachside Camp
This is the first camp you’ll visit once you unlock access to the Cobalt Coastlands. It is located near Crossing Slope and Ginkgo Landing.
Coastlands Camp
To unlock this camp, you’ll have to have started the quest The Lordless Island. To start, go towards Bather’s Lagoon until you find Gully. Talk to them to initiate the quest and then head towards Sands Reach to find Yorrich. On the map, you’ll see a peninsula that looks like a hand. Yorrich is in the spot where the pinky finger of the hand would be. You’ll find Yorrich being attacked by a Chatot. Defeat the songbird to finish the quest and you will unlock the Coastlands Camp. The camp will from then on be located in the center palm of the hand peninsula.
Highlands Camp
The Highlands Camp in the Coronet Highlands will be located right near the Heavenward Lookout. You will be able to travel here once you unlock being able to visit the Coronet Highlands.
Mountain Camp
To unlock this camp, speak to Eshim, who you will find by the Lonely Spring. A local Bronzor is inhibiting the construction of a new base camp and you must figure out why. Follow the Bronzor across the river after talking to it and then go to the injured Bronzor you’ll see if you go a little further down. Eshim will heal the Bronzor’s hurt companion and the quest will be completed, unlocking the camp which will be near the Lonely Spring.
Snowfields Camp
The Alabaster Icelands is the game region’s snow-covered area. The first camp you will unlock in it is the Snowfields Camp, which is located near Whiteout Valley.
Icepeak Camp
To set up this camp, you’ll first want to speak to Brice at Avalugg’s Legacy. For this quest, there is no battle. Brice’s friend Craig is missing and you must help find them. To find Craig, head to the basin not far from Lake Acuity, where they will be. Speak to them and you will complete the quest after speaking to Brice one more time. The Icepeak Camp will be set up by the river on the diagonally opposite side of where you found Craig.
