Forspoken’s Cast and Characters

Forspoken is centered around the fantasy world of Athia. It’s a massive world full of magic and danger, and an otherworldly phenomenon known as the “Break” has been corrupting the land, turning humans into mindless zombies and animals into ferocious mutants.

Alfre “Frey” Holland

Portayed by: Ella Balinska

The protagonist of Forspoken. A seemingly ordinary girl from New York who loves cats, Frey suddenly finds herself transported to the world of Athia after touching a mysterious gold bracelet. Now, she must cooperate with the bracelet, whom she dubs “Cuff,” to find a way home and maybe even bring peace to Athia.

Be sure to check out our article on Frey’s character model for more information about Ella Balinska, the actress who portrays Frey.

Cuff

Voiced by: Jonathan Cake

The sentient gold bracelet that anchors itself to Frey’s arm. After Frey is transported to Athia, Cuff serves as her guide and enables her to use powerful magic to defend herself. Cuff’s got a bit of snark to him, but he seems stable enough for Frey to trust him. Though, there’s more to him than meets the eye…

Tanta Sila

Portrayed by: Janina Gavankar

One of the four Tantas, and the supreme dictator of Athia. The Tantas once ruled Athia in peace and harmony, but unknown forces have caused them each to go mad with power. Tanta Sila is the first major antagonist in the game, as she is actively hunting down Frey, for reasons unknown.

Tanta Prav

Portrayed by: Pollyanna McIntosh

Another one of the Tantas, Tanta Prav is the Tanta of Justice. As such, she oversees Athia’s justice system, though her current mental state has left her moral compass questionable at best. She seems completely unhinged when she first meets Frey, and there’s no telling what unjust punishments she has in store for her.

Auden Keen

Portrayed by: Monica Barbaro

A native Athian who quickly befriends Frey as she entered Cipal, the central capital of Athia. A kind healer and scholar, Auden goes out of her way to help Frey in whatever way she can. She tells Frey about her father’s missing journal, which may have some clues relating to Frey getting back home, so the two pair up and work together.
