Your crew in Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew consists of colorful characters, all hailing from different parts of the world. You can only bring three crewmates with you on a mission, so you’ll have to get to know all of them if you want to form a decent strategy.

Afia Manicato – The Navigator
The first crewmate you get, and the protagonist of the story. Afia is the navigator of the crew, and she possesses natural control over the flow of time. She can temporarily freeze enemies in place, and can warp short distances to strike enemies down.
Mr. Mercury – The Shipwright
The ship’s Scottish shipwright, Mr. Mercury is in charge of maintaining and fixing the ship. Being very familiar with the “Below”, Mr. Mercury can use his giant anchor to tear open a portal into the Below that lets him hide for as long as he wants. He can also call upon his pet fish Sir Reginald to distract foes.
Gaëlle le Bris – The Master Cannoness
If you want heavy weaponry, Gaëlle le Bris is your woman. As the ship’s cannoness, she’s in charge of using and maintaining all the weapons on deck. During missions, she can utilize her own personal cannon, lovingly nicknamed Ar Kanol, to blast enemies from afar. It even comes with a built-in grappling hook, useful for dragging targets around.
Suleidy – The Ship Doctor
The resident ship doctor, Suleidy can heal any strange ailments with the aid of her soul-infused plants. Her plants come in handy during missions as they can create portable cover for the crew, and they can even distract guards.
Toya of Iga – The Ship’s Cook
Hailing from the land of the rising sun, Toya is a master chef who can create delicious meals for the crew. Toya also carries with him his trusty Katashiro, which act as personal teleportation spots. He can also use his whistle to bring enemies away from their normal posts.
Pinkus von Presswald – The Quartermaster
The ship’s Prussian quartermaster, Pinkus is in charge of managing rations and supplies. As an intellectual reader, Pinkus has gained the ability to take over the minds of unsuspecting enemies, allowing him full control over their movement.
Quentin Aalbers – The Treasure Hunter
No treasure is ever left behind with Quentin around. Utilizing his own detached golden head, Quentin can distract greedy enemies, while he can sneak around and stab them in the back. Quentin is also an avid fisher, and he can use his trusty fishing rod to pull crewmates and enemies towards him.
Teresa la Ciega – The Sharpshooter
Teresa can snipe foes from afar with her crossbow and magically-infused bolts. With the Ashen Judgment bolt, she can temporarily blind her targets, and with the Iron Judgment bolt, she can outright kill her targets.
