Trading Between Players

This feature requires a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription. By visiting the Trading Post in Jubilife Village, players can trade locally via wireless, or online with players globally. Here you can also exchange Merit Points for items, including items needed to evolve your Pokemon. To trade, just follow these steps:

  • Speak to Simona at the Jubilife Village Trading Post
  • Select the option ‘I Want To Trade Pokemon’
  • Join (or create a link code to host a trade) and connect with other players
  • Select the Pokemon to trade, and make as many trades as both players require

Players do not need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to trade locally.

Retrieving Lost Satchels

This feature requires a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription. When players lose items after battling with wild Pokemon, a satchel is left behind. This satchel can then be found by another player and the items are returned. By retrieving a satchel, players gain Merit Points to spend on items at the Trading Post.

A satchel can be returned by selecting ‘Communications’ in the Menu and finding the satchel that was found. Players can keep an eye on how much they lose after battles in the Lost & Found list within the ‘Your Lost Satchels’ section of the menu.

Transfer Pokemon Between Games

This feature requires a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription. Players have the option to transfer Pokemon between games such as Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl using the Nintendo Home feature. Just select ‘Pokemon Home’ on your Nintendo Switch, tap ‘Pokemon’ in the Main Menu, find Pokemon Legends: Arceus save file, then drag and drop Pokemon between games.

Mystery Gifts

Players do not need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription for this element of the game. Mystery Gifts are limited-time items or Event Pokemon gifted to players. These can be accessed after players reach Rank 1 in the Survey Corps. An internet connection is needed to claim any gifts, and occasionally can be collected via a code. The gifts are only available to claim for a short time, so download them straight away! Go to Check Mystery Gifts in the Menu and find out what you have and what you can receive.
