Marriage is really important in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, as you’re supposed to do it before the end of your first year because of the way the games cycle works. There are eight potential partners in total to choose from, four males and four females. Each one has different likes and dislikes, so you have to find out what the best gifts are to give them. When you’re ready, you can propose to them using the blue feather. You’ll be spending years with this person and growing a family with them, so choose wisely. These are all the romance options in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.

Bachelorettes
Cecelia
Cecelia is probably the most vanilla choice of the bachelorettes. Like you, she’s a farmer and a lover of all things on the ranch. She lives on the neighboring farm with Vesta and Matthew, who are very protective of her. Things like crops and flowers will make her happy. She’s a sweet shy person who cares for you very much.
Molly (Formerly Muffy)
Molly is the hopeless romantic of town who has yet to find her dream person. She works at the Bluebird Cafe in town with Gavin, who looks after her as a father would. Molly’s tastes are simple, as she will accept flowers as a gift. She’s bubbly, cute, and glamorous but very kind.
Nami
Nami isn’t hard per say, but she requires a little more work to please than the other bachelorettes because basic things do not satisfy her. You have to offer her cooked items, statues from the dig site, and fruit crops. You can make basic things like milky soup and egg soup, and she will like both. She may seem cold and reserved at times, but there’s a sweet person under that exterior.
Lumina
Lumina is the bachelorette candidate who lives with her aunt Romana and butler in the large house on the other side of town. Having been raised by her aristocratic-like aunt, Lumina practices classical hobbies like piano. She’s rather bored in town since there aren’t a lot of young people there, but maybe you can help her out of isolation? Like Cecelia and Molly, she’s impressed by simple things like flowers.
Bachelors
Rock
Rock is the very definition of “I can fix him”. His goal in life is to live like a bum and do nothing that requires lifting a finger. His parents own the Lei-Over in town, where he mostly spends all day loafing. You can impress him by offering things from the dig site. Despite his quirks, he’s a friendly and easygoing guy.
Gordy
Gordy may seem grumpy at first, but it’s not what you think. He’s an artist, specifically a metal worker who is always busy trying to get inspiration for his next project. Sometimes he’s just not in the mood to talk to people and won’t even take gifts when he’s in that setting. When he’s feeling sociable, you can give him things like Moonlight Ores from the dig site. He’s definitely one of the trickier bachelors to woo.
Gustafa
If KK Slider from Animal Crossing became a person, it would definitely be Gustafa. He’s a free spirit and a drifter who loves music and will play for anyone who wants to listen. He’s the sweetheart of the guys who loves romance and happy things. You can offer him things like milk and flowers, and he’ll adore you for it.
Matthew
The shyest bachelor of the bunch is definitely Matthew. He’s the brother of Vesta and moved to the country because the city wasn’t doing any favors for his poor health. He’s having a difficult time adjusting though, which makes him sometimes lash out at those around him. Despite his gruff exterior, he’s not too picky about his gifts and will take things like crops and animal products.
