Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is the newest Pokémon game and of course, it has lots of Shiny Pokémon. However, some of these creatures don’t have their own Shiny versions. Also, there are some Shiny locked Pokémon that you may want to know about. So, here is the list of all Shiny locked Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet:

  • All Starter Pokémon (Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Fuecoco).
  • All Pokémon you receive as gifts from certain NPCs.
  • All Box Legendary Pokémon (Koraidon and Miraidon).
  • All Titan Pokémon (Klawf, Orthworm, Great Tusk/Iron Threads, Bombirdier, and Tatsugirl)
  • All Legendary Pokémon (Ting-Lu, Chien-Pao, Wo-Chien, and Chi-Yu)
  • Ghimmighoul (Chest Form)

As you can see, there are many Shiny locked Pokémon that you can encounter in this game. However, there are a couple of ways to get Shiny versions of some of these Pokémon. For example, you can’t get Shiny Starter Pokémon at the beginning of the game but you still can get their Shiny versions in other ways.
