Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection

All Weapons In Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection

Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection is incredibly faithful to the original arcade game, featuring the same content, improved with some tweaks, and the same brutally difficult experience. Arthur dies in only a few hits, so you need to know how to attack and defend properly to complete the game.

Returning from the original game are different weapons with their own unique uses that can make regular enemy encounters and boss battles much easier than with the standard Lance. This time around, you also have the ability to store and switch multiple weapons, so make sure to use this to your advantage.

Here’s all of the weapons found in Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection.

All Weapons In Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection

Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection features 8 different weapons – Lance, Crossbow, Dagger, Discus, Hammer, Holy Water, Shield and Spiked Ball.

The Lance is Arthur’s basic weapon. It has a decent amount of range and fire rate, so it’s a weapon that can be used in a variety of situations.

The Crossbow is a very unique weapon that shoots two projectiles diagonally, making it a great weapon to use against airborne enemies and those coming to your from higher ground. The fact that it does not hit directly in front of Arthur, however, makes it a difficult weapon to master.

The Dagger has great fire rate and range, making it a deadly weapon against bosses. Just be mindful of its small size, compared to the Lance.

The Discus can make a big difference if used properly, thanks to its amazing range. Once launched, the Discus will follow the terrain, so it’s a great weapon to clear the way from grounded enemies.

The Hammer is among the slowest weapons in the game, but also among the strongest, as it deals tons of damage, something that makes it great for bosses. It also has decent range, as it fires a shockwave that can protect Arthur if he is surrounded by enemies.

The Holy Water is a weapon you shouldn’t rely on too much. It deals little damage, and it’s only good for enemies on the ground. There are better options in the game, so avoid picking this up if you haven’t unlocked the ability to switch weapons yet.

The Shield is the ultimate defensive weapon. It has poor range, but decent damage, with the added capability of being able to deflect enemy attacks, granting you a level of survivability no other weapon can.

The Spiked Ball is probably the best weapon in the game for grounded combat, as it deals tons of damage and has great range on the ground. Unfortunately, it’s not very good against airborne enemies, so you should pair it with another weapon that can cover this weakness.
