Alphabear 2 is Full of Scrabble Gameplay and Bear Puns

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Welcome the wonderful world of Alphabear 2, the sequel to the word-matching bear-tastic game from the creative team Spry Fox. There’s lots more words and puzzles to discover in this one, so buckle up and get ready because we’re in for an unBEARable ride!

If you are unfamiliar with Alphabear, the objective of the game is to spell words by selecting the letters on a grid. However, this isn’t just a plain old game of Scrabble – each puzzle has tiles in different places, so you will need to work around them.

When you do create a word with adjacent letters, bears will appear! The more letters you use, the bigger the bear will be, and you will earn more points. Making those fancy long words is the key to scoring high, so get out your thesaurus!

As you solve puzzles, you’ll earn fun little bears to add to your collection. These bears aren’t just for show! They will help you in any future stage by coming to help your timer, change letters around, increase the amount of points you earn, and so forth.

And of course, the fan-favorite feature of the original game using your words as lines in mini comics is here! As you spell out words during the stage, they will be used in a comic that shows off the silliness of the game’s sense of humor.

Alphabear 2 is available on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.
