Animal Crossing: New Horizons 1.5.0 Update Now Live; Patch Notes Revealed

For once, right behind the corner really meant right behind the corner, as the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Fall update has now gone live, just as Nintendo teased a few days back.

The new update, update 1.5.0, introduces new seasonal content to the game, such as the Halloween event, new BIY projects that use pumpkins, new character customization options, and new outfits.

The new Animal Crossing: New Horizons update also introduces some quality of life improvements. You can learn more about them by checking out the full patch notes below.

General updates

  • A new seasonal event, Halloween, has been added.
  • Pumpkins (produce item) and DIY projects that use pumpkins have been added.
  • Added new features for visiting dream islands with Luna: the ability to choose your destination from a list of previously visited dream islands and the ability to favorite previously visited dream islands.
  • It is now possible to hide items that are not for sale by pressing the Y Button when viewing the catalog via Nook Shopping.

Fixed issues
Other adjustments were made to improve the gameplay experience.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now available worldwide on Nintendo Switch. The Fall update is also live right now.
