Apex Legends is finally available on Nintendo Switch, allowing all fans of the game developed by Respawn to enjoy the game on the go. But at what cost, in terms of graphics and performance?
A new video put together by GameXplain compares the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 Pro versions of the game, highlighting the differences. As expected, there’s no doubt that the game runs much better on the PlayStation 4 Pro, but differences may not be as massive as one may think.
The Nintendo Switch version is far from being the best version of the game, which is not too surprising, considering the differences in power between the Nintendo console and all the others. Both resolution and frame rate have taken a hit, making this version of the game great only for portable play. The lower frame rate is definitely a problem, considering a competitive game needs to run as smoothly as possible.
