Last month we have reported that a new arcade game called Down The Mountain was going to be released sometime during June. The game unfortunately has failed to materialize in time but thankfully the delays hasn’t been all that big, as the game is now available for download on the App Store.

In Down the Mountain, developed by Umbrella, players will have to do down a mountain and avoid all kinds of obstacles such as traps, spikes, TNT and more. The longer they will be able to go down without getting defeated, the bigger their score will be.

Getting as high a score as possible isn’t the only goal of Down the Mountain. The game also includes a variety of missions that will allow players to unlock different characters. With around 60 characters to unlock, those who enjoy the game will be busy for quite some time.

Down The Mountain has the potential to be a quite big hit on the App Store thanks to its colorful graphical style and simple to pick up and play gameplay experience. How successful the game will be will depend on the players, of course, so make sure to check it out as soon as possible if you’re a fan of arcade games.
