A few months ago Hipster Whale, the team behind the successful arcade game Crossy Road, announced that an arcade endless game based on the popular Pac-Man was going to be released this Summer on the App Store. Pac-Man 256 is an interesting version of the classic arcade game by Bandai Namco which twists the experience in some unexpected ways.

If you have been eagerly anticipating the release of the game, you need to access the App Store right now, as Pac-Man 256 is now available for download in all regions.

In Pac-Man 256, players will take control of the popular character from Bandai Namco Pac-Man as he explores endless mazes, eat pellets to be able to defeat ghosts and tries to stay ahead of the infamous Level 256 glitch which fans of the classic arcade game probably know. This endless twist to the Pac-Man gameplay formula can be enjoyed by both those who have spent hours playing the original game as well as by those who have never played it before.
