Crystals are precious minerals that are required for a variety of high level crafting recipes in ARK: Survival Evolved. They’re pretty rare and hard to find, but most players know where to get them on the older maps. Since the new Fjordur DLC map just came out, players are still figuring out where they’re located. Today, we’ll show you where to find crystals in our ARK: Survival Evolved Fjordur map crystal location guide!
Fjordur Map Crystal Locations
Crystals look like white, sharp rocks with a tint of purple, as seen in the featured image. You’ll need a lot of these once you get to the end-game crafting, because it’s used in a number of recipes, including the Industrial Grill and Forge, Fabricator, Lamppost, Refrigerator, and more.
The first location you can find crystals in the Fjordur is probably the easiest location to get to, as it’s the closest one to the easy starting spawns. Since most of the easy spawns start at 60 latitude, 50-60 longitude, you can cross the river towards the northeast. Head up to the mountain range where our blue arrow is on the map, and you’ll find a small field with crystals, at around 25 latitude, 42 longitude.
The next two locations require a long trek, so make sure you’re prepared. You’re going to be heading all the way east, near the border of the Fjordur. The first location is at 45 latitude, 90 longitude. There’s a small quarry on the side of a mountain that houses metal and crystals.

The second location is a bit northeast from the previous location. Check the map below for the exact spot, but there’s a small spiral mountain off the coast to the northeast, at 39 latitude, 100 longitude. You’ll have to make your way up the mountain by going around the path that bends upward, and at the very top you can find a patch of crystals.
Those are all the crystal locations we’ve found so far in Fjordur. We’re sure that there are more locations out there, so if you know any not listed here, please let us know in the comments below!
