Stats (Level 40 at 5-Stars)

  • HP: 42/45/49 (70%)
  • ATK: 39/43/46 (75%)
  • SPD: 23/26/30 (45%)
  • DEF: 39/43/46 (75%)
  • RES: 35/38/42 (70%)
  • Overall: 194-196

Weapon

  • Dew Dragonstone: Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Effective against armored foes. Neutralizes “effective against armored” bonuses. If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5 on foe during combat, neutralizes penalties on unit during combat, and foe cannot make a follow-up attack. If foe’s Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe’s Def or Res.

Special

  • Bonfire: Boosts damage by 50% of unit’s Def.

Passives

  • Steady/Sturdy Stance (A): If foe initiates combat, gain ATK/DEF+6 bonus during combat and inflict Special cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack.
  • Wily Fighter (B): If unit’s HP ≥ 25% and foe initiates combat, neutralizes bonuses (from skills like Fortify, Rally, etc.) on foe during combat and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack.
  • D/R Near Save (C): If a foe uses sword, lance, axe, dragonstone, or beast damage and initiates combat against an ally within 2 spaces of unit, triggers Savior on unit. If unit triggers Savior, grants Def/Res+4 during combat.
    • Savor: Unit takes ally’s space, enters combat in ally’s place, and receives all after-combat effects. Savior will not trigger if ally is on terrain that unit cannot move to or if multiple units are able to use Savior during the same combat. If Savior triggers, after-combat movement effects do not occur.

Strategy

With monstrous stats and a boatload of utility options for combat, Idunn: Divine Demon is quite the beast with little weaknesses. She’s easily one of the best units in the most recent wave of new heroes.

To start out with, always make sure that Idunn is moving with an ally nearby. When she’s within three spaces of an ally, any enemies she fights will be severely hampered by the stat reductions and disabled follow-up attack. Not to mention, her special trigger accelerates by one as well. Idunn is also an Armored type unit, but thanks to Dew Dragonstone, she won’t be affected by any attacks that are effective against Armored units.

With her insane stats, most enemies will try not to attack Idunn, but should they attempt to attack a nearby ally instead, that’s when Idunn’s D/R Near Save kicks into gear. She’ll take the ally’s place and enemies will have to fight her instead, now with boosted stats. There is no stopping Ascended Idunn!

A popular build to use with Ascended Idunn is to give her the Steady Breath Sacred Seal. This will make it so that Idunn can use her Special on her very first counterattack after getting attacked once, which can easily take out most enemies in one hit.

In general, Idunn’s skills and passives are very flexible because her stats are so high. Try out different abilities and see what works the best for you! Her only real weakness is her low SPD, which can make her vulnerable to units weapons that take advantage of SPD.
