Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy is hardly complete once you have defeated the final boss and watched the ending. In some ways, the fun has only just begun, as you will be able to take on harder challenges from here on out. If you are a completionist, you will definitely want to play through the game again to experience everything that you might have missed and ever fight an optional, incredibly powerful boss.

Clear Data

After watching the ending, the game will let you create a Game Clear Data. Thanks to this data, the game will know it has been completed, and it will unlock all of the post-game content available.

Loading the Game Clear Data will offer you two options. The first will let you start right before the battle against the Legendary Monarch so that you can watch the ending again or complete any side-quest you may have missed. The second option will let you begin New Game +.

The Last Sentinel

Picking the first Clear Data loading option will also give you the chance to take on the most dangerous boss in the game, the Last Sentinel. This boss is extremely powerful and has tons of HP so prepare yourself for a long and grueling battle. Also, make sure to be at an extremely high level, and focus on debuffing and healing, as the Sentinel can deal tons of damage in a single attack.

New Game +

Picking the second Clear Data loading option will unlock New Game + mode. In this mode, you will start from the very beginning, but you will also retain pretty much all of your progression, including obtained items and Gold Coins. You can also enjoy the game in Very Hard and Charismatic difficulties. The latter is the highest difficulty level available in the game, so make sure you are prepared for a real challenge.

Extras

Completing the game will also unlock the Art Gallery, Concert Hall and Bonuses. This additional content doesn’t add any gameplay time, but it is a nice addition for any true fan of the series, as it lets you check out artwork and movies, listen to music and so on.
