Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream only launched last month on Nintendo Switch, PC and PlayStation consoles, but it seems like developer Gust couldn’t wait to introduce some additional content to the game with a free patch.
On March 17, the Japanese developer released the 1.0.4 patch which introduces a new play mode alongside other new features and some bug fixes.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream 1.0.4 patch.
Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream Patch 1.0.4: Full Patch Notes
The Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream 1.0.4 patch, now live on all platforms, introduces a brand new play mode called Boss Rush Battle mode that allows players to take on one after the other, all of the game’s main bosses. With the entire game not being particularly focused on combat, this mode is a welcome addition for those who enjoy fighting strong enemies.
The new additions of the new patch don’t end here, as it also brings a new BGM option that allows players to change the background music by picking the dedicated option from the desk in the atelier.
The Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream 1.0.4 patch also introduces a fix for a visual issue found in the Nintendo Switch version. You can check out the full patch notes below, courtesy of Koei Temco.
