Sometimes, publishers like to surprise players all over the world by releasing games without any prior announcement. Today is one of those days, as a classic action RPG has made its way onto the Nintendo Switch unannounced.
Interplay Entertainment and Wizards of the Coast have released the classic action RPG Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance digitally on Nintendo Switch. The game originally launched years back on PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube and it is still considered as one of the finest action RPGs ever made.
The Baldur’s Gate name, however, is a bit misleading. While the game is indeed set in the series’ universe, it plays nothing like the classic role-playing games, although it retains some of their features like the in-depth class system inspired by D&D and more.
In case you never had the chance to play the game, you can take a look at a Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance trailer right below.
Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance is now available on Nintendo Switch, as well as on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
