Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance

Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance Officially Releases This Week On Nintendo Switch

Earlier this month, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, letting players enjoy the classic action role-playing on modern hardware. The game was supposed to be released on Nintendo Switch on the same day, but the game has been delayed at the very last minute for unknown reasons.

Developer Black Isle Studios hasn’t talked about the reasons behind the delay, but it did confirm that the game will officially release on Nintendo Switch tomorrow, May 20.

Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance is among the most interesting action role-playing games released back during the PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube era. While based on the popular cRPG series, which features classic real-time combat , Dark Alliance is an action role-playing game powered by the same mechanics inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, making for a very unique experience that is deep enough without feeling overwhelming to those who never played D&D before.

Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance officially launches on Nintendo Switch on May 20 worldwide. The game is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and it will be making its way onto PC later this year.
