Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition To Receive New Expansion Later This Year

Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, the new version of the classic role playing game now available on the App Store in all regions, is going to receive a major expansion later this year.

The new Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition will be called Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear. The expansion, which is going to run on the Infinity Engine, will be set between the first and second Baldur’s Gate and it will require at least 25 hours to be completed. In the expansion, players will have to face the leader of a crusade marching along the Sword Coast led by an apparent child of god called the Shining Lady.

A precise release date for the new Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition has yet to be determined, but it’s already been confirmed that it will be released on PC before getting launched on iOS. Pricing has also yet to be determined.

Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition is now available in all regions on the App Store. The new expansion is going to be released on a yet to be confirmed release date later this year but we will let you know more about the matter as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news.
