Battle Quest Rise of Heroes is an endless runner game with RPG elements created by Mobage, and one that really manages to surprise us in a good way. But we are here to check out some Battle Quest: Rise of Heroes cheats and tips, and not praise the game, so that’s exactly what we’re going to do. In the end, it’s all about winning and completing all the quests (and getting as many coins as possible in the process) so let’s see how to do that.
Read on for our set of Battle Quest: Rise of Heroes cheats, tips and tricks for the perfect hero!
1. Learn the colors
In theory, things are pretty simple: you have three types of heroes, each strong against a specific type of enemy. The enemies will get an icon above their heads showing you which type of hero (or heroes) they are weak against. Make sure you learn the colors and you know which hero to switch to – and also do it quickly. This means that you should always keep an eye on the top left corner to see if you should swipe up or down for the required hero.
2. Will heroes be unable to kill monsters?
It’s best to have your heroes fight only against the enemies they can easily beat, but this doesn’t mean that they can’t defeat other types of enemies. It’s more difficult and if things get really crowded, you’ll lose a lot of HP.
3. Each hero has a special power
If you have enough Mana Points (MP, collected from blue orbs dropped by monsters). Experience with each power-up and see which you prefer the most.
4. Keep an eye for treasure chests
Even though it’s pretty difficult to stay focused with so many enemies on screen and with sliding up, down, right and left, you should also keep an eye after treasure chests that will appear to the sides of the road AND tap them in order to get extra goodies, from scrolls to powerful equipment.
5. Always equip the best gear
Visit the Armory often – especially after unlocking new pieces of equipment. Compare the one your heroes are wearing with the one that you have in your inventory and make sure that they always wear the best equipment available.
6. Don’t get help from other heroes
I personally don’t like to get help from other heroes because basically my heroes lose experience (any enemies killed by the “hired” hero give you no XP points). Therefore, it’s best to go for each stage with your own set of heroes and level them up.
7. Level up heroes evenly
Even though everybody has a particular hero they will play as the most (in my case, the Archer), you should try and switch and balance things and level them up evenly. There will be moments when you will really need to use a hero to its full potential to complete a level, and if their own level is low, it’s going to be really difficult.
8. Replay levels for extra XP
If it happens for your hero to be of a too low level, or you need some extra money, complete previously mastered levels. You will still get extra bits of equipment, gold coins and experience, so it’s always a good idea to replay levels.
9. Keep an eye after the goblin
Whenever the goblin appears in a level, make sure that you destroy it – easiest way to do it is to use the hero it is weakest against. The rewards they offer are really good and shouldn’t be turned down.
10. Enhance your best items
Whenever you get a very rare item in your Armory (you can check out the rarity in the Armory, under the weapon’s or equipment’s icon, with A being the rarest and D the most common) you should enhance that using scrolls. Don’t waste those scrolls on enhancing weapons or items that are of poor value, and always use the maximum amount of scrolls (you get three scratches on the cards for scrolls, and obviously the more you use, the more stats your enhanced item gets).
