When the mobile gaming market started to become bigger, many console manufacturers and development houses have seen the mobile gaming world as a threat for the regular video gaming market.
Those times seem quite far now, as pretty much everyone has embraced the mobile market, seeing as an opportunity.
Among the many companion apps developed for home console and PC releases is the Battlefield 4 Commander Mode companion app, which has been fully detailed by the game’s developer DICE in a new blog post.
The Battlefield 4 Commander Mode app can be used to play the game’s Commander mode on a tablet. The App works with all the different versions of the game, Ps3, Xbox 360 and PC allowing gamers to use it even over 3G as well as Wi-Fi. As DICE has stated on its blog that the App will work with all versions of the game, we can expect it to work fine even with the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
The Battlefield 4 Commander Mode allows Battlefield 4 gamers to have a more strategical approach to the game, as they will be commanding different troops from afar. Thanks to the intuitive touch controls, playing this mode on an iPad will be more engaging than ever. Ever wanted to show the world that you can be an undefeated battle commander? Now is the time to do so.
The Battlefield 4 Commander Mode App is now available on the App Store. The App will only ran on iPad.
