Weapons overview!

• The Assault Rifle is your standard weapon of choice, and the most common weapon you will find. With decent range, a good rate of fire, and respectable damage, the Assault Rifle is the all around weapon, and you can never go wrong with this bad boy.
• The Shotgun is the weapon for battlers who like to get up close and personal with their enemies. The Shotgun fires 5 shots at once in a cone with an extremely short range, so the closer you are the more damage you will deal. High risk, high reward! Try to ambush your enemies to close the distance faster.
• The Sniper Rifle has the longest range out of all the weapon, but trades off with a low rate of fire. If you rather pick off opponents from afar, this is the weapon for you. Just keep that low fire rate in mind – if you are not accurate enough, this weapon may be more trouble than it is worth!
• The Carbine is a gun in-between the Assault Rifle and Sniper Rifle. It has a normal fire rate and a good range, so it is suited for most mid-range encounters.

Find shields!

The blue shields will adds another health bar on top of your regular health and act as armor. You need to find as many shields as you can to survive most encounters, so be sure to scrounge a little bit before you pick a fight with another battler. You never know what they’re packing so be on the lookout!

Watch the damage numbers!

Pay attention to the damage numbers that fly out of a battler when you hit them. If the number is white, you are dealing direct damage to them. If it flashes red, you scored a critical hit. Applied firepower will increase your chances of critical hits! If the number is blue, that means you are damaging their shields. Depending on how shielded you are, seeing blue numbers may be a signal for you to disengage and come back when you have shields yourself.

Find the air drops!

Periodically a support plane will fly in and drop a loot crate somewhere on the map. An indicator will pop up showing you where the air drop is – do your best to find it as soon as possible! Once you find it you will need to stand by it as if you are picking up a regular item, but the wait time is even longer.

It is worth it though! Air drops will drop health, shields, ammo, and even better: a special weapon exclusive to the air drop. The Minigun is a powerful machine gun that has an extremely high rate of fire, capable of shredding even fully shielded targets. The Rocket Launcher fires a slow moving rocket that deals tremendous damage that is capable of knocking out unshielded targets in a single hit.

Start at one of locales!

Don’t know where to drop in at? Try one of the marked locales, like the Hideout. Weapons and supplies are guaranteed to spawn in these places, so it is better than just spawning in the middle of nowhere. Other people will most definitely have the same idea, but you just need to beat them to the punch with the items.
