Genshin Impact Keqing

Best Builds for Keqing in Genshin Impact

Before the arrival of Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko, Keqing was arguably the best Electro DPS character in Geshin Impact. Even now, the Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing competes pretty well even in today’s meta.

If you recently got Keqing from Character/Standard banner, you might be wondering how to build her correctly. As Keqing has Crit DMG% as her ascension stat, she is usually played as a DPS character.

This article shares the best build for Keqing in Genshin Impact.

How to Build Keqing in Genshin Impact

Keqing is a sword user blessed with an Electro vision. Her Elemental Skill, Stellar Restoration, provides Electro infusion to her normal attacks for a short duration because of passive talent Thundering Penance. On the other hand, her beautiful Elemental Burst, Starward Sword, strikes multiple instances of Electro attacks followed by a powerful slash.

The best way to build her is as an Electro DPS carry.

Keqing Electro DPS Build

Best Weapons for Electro DPS Build

For Electro DPS Keqing, Mistsplitter Reforged is the best weapon for maximum damage output. Because of her infusion skill, she can use Mistsplitter Reforged’s powerful passive.

After Mistsplliter Reforged, Primordial Jade Cutter is the next best weapon for the young Yuheng. Despite the low base attack, this weapon provides a whopping 44.1% Crit Rate at max level.

If you have no decent 5-star weapons, there are multiple decent 4-star options available as well:

  • The Black Sword
  • Lion’s Roar
  • Blackcliff Longsword

Best Artifacts for Electro DPS Build

As of right now, there is no perfect artifact set available for Keqing Electro DPS build. Players can use a mix of the following artifact sets for best results:

  • 2-Piece Thundering Fury + 2-Piece Gladiator’s Finale
  • 2-Piece Thundering Fury + 2-Piece Shimenawa’s Reminiscence

As for the main stats, Keqing needs:

  • ATK% on Sands
  • Electro DMG% on Goblet
  • Crit Rate/DMG on Circlet

As for the sub stats, Crit Rate and Crit DMG are always a priority for DPS characters. However, ATK% and Elemental Mastery can also come in handy for Keqing.

Keqing Physical DPS Build

Thanks to high scaling on Keqing’s Charged Attacks, Genshin Impact players can also use her as a Physical DPS character. Moreover, she can use her Electro attacks to trigger Superconduct and lower the Physical Resistance of enemies by 40%.

Best Weapons for Physical DPS Build

The best weapon for playing Keqing as a Physical DPS is Aquila Favonia. This weapon boasts a high base attack of 674 and 41.3% Physical DMG as a secondary stat.

Players without Aquila Favonia can use the free craftable weapon, Prototype Rancour. Like Aquila Favonia, it also has a high base attack for being a 4-star weapon and provides a 34.5 % Physical DMG bonus.

Best Artifacts for Physical DPS Build

Unlike Electro Keqing, Physical Keqing has access to an amazing 4-piece artifact set. Genshin Impact players can use the following artifact sets on Keqing:

  • 4-Piece Pale Flame
  • 2-Piece Pale Flame + 2-Piece Bloodstained Chivalry
  • 2-Piece Bloodstained Chivalry/Pale Flame +18% ATK set

When it comes to main stats and sub stats for Physical Keqing build, everything stays the same as Electro build but replace the Electro DMG goblet with a Physical DMG goblet.

That’s it for the Keqing build guide. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments.
