As you start your campaign in Nexus War: Civilization, players must side with one of the four races. Each race has its own special skills that give it a slight advantage over the other races, so we’ll show you the best race in Nexus War: Civilization.
The Best Starting Race in Nexus War: Civilization
Each one of the four races in Nexus War: Civilization has racial skills that help them out in certain areas, but ultimately they’re all fine choices. So, which one is the best for players that are just starting out?
The best starting race, if you don’t have any particularly strategies in mind, are the humble Humans. The reason being is that their racial skills include bonus artillery attack, construction speed, and marching speed of gathering armies.
The artillery attack is fine, but what really stands out are the construction speed and gathering marching speed bonuses. A lot of your time spent in Nexus War: Civilization includes building up new facilities and gathering resources, so these bonuses go a long way.
As your empire progresses through the game, you’ll also recruit a variety of heroes that come from different races. If you’re wondering which heroes are the best to use, be sure to check out our Nexus War: Civilization heroes tier list for more details.
Note that you can switch races after you’ve already picked one, but this requires a hefty amount of the premium currency of the game.
All Races in Nexus War: Civilization
There are three other races in Nexus War: Civilization. As we mentioned, there is no “best” race, just races with different bonuses. Check them out to see what they boost, and choose one based on your favorite play style.
Izan
The Izan have bonus tank attack, research speed, and marching speed of jungling armies. The Izan is a great alternative choice, because you will also be doing a lot of researching. Jungling armies are the units you send out to take out the enemies on the world map.
Theia
The Theia have bonus infantry attack, healing speed, and scout speed. You can explore unknown regions and heal your wounded units faster as the Theia.
Aoku
The Aoku have bonus tank attack, training speed, and marching speed of raiding armies. If you like to play aggressively with your empire, the Aoku bonuses can help you build a sizable army faster than other races.
