Ursaluna is slower and less mobile than Wyrdeer in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, but its unique ability of being able to sniff out and help you find hidden, rare items when you use it as a mount gives it an edge over Wyrdeer.

There are quite a few items that you can come across when riding Ursaluna around Hisui, and of course, not all of them are created equal; there are some items that are clearly more valuable than the rest.

Some of the common items that you will come across are crafting items, such as the Sky Tumblestone and Iron Chunk that are used to craft different categories of PokeBalls, or the Candy Truffle and Springy Mushroom that let you craft consumables that you can use in battle.

While the above mentioned items are certainly useful, there are two items that are a cut above the rest: the Peat Block and the Black Augurite. Why are these so valuable? Because they are exclusive evolution items that evolve one certain Pokemon each. Peat Black evolves Ursaring into Ursaluna, and Black Augurite evolves Scyther into Kleavor.

But something important to note, is that Black Augurite can be found in other places too; they can be dropped from Graveler when you defeat them, or dropped from Space-Time Distortions. On the other hand, Peat Block can only be obtained by finding it as a hidden item that Ursaluna can sniff out.
