Battlegrounds Mobile India released a few days ago for a few selected users. However, after some time, the closed beta was transformed into open beta so that everyone can play the game at launch. Being the rebranded version of PUBG Mobile, one of the biggest questions players have in mind is, can we transfer PUBG data to BGMI?

How to transfer PUBG Mobile account data to BGMI?

Click on “Yes, please continue”

First off, it’s worth noting that transferring data option is only limited to Facebook and Twitter accounts. This means, data migration is official -not possible for Google Play Games or any other login services. However, here’s an alternative method for the players who have PUBG Mobile account linked with Google Play.

  1. Login to your PUBG Mobile account into the Global version using a VPN.
  2. Go to the Settings.
  3. Link the account to your Twitter or Facebook ID.
  4. Next, log in to BGMI using Twitter or Facebook account.
  5. Click on the Yes, please continue on the Account data transfer prompt.

However, Krafton has clearly mentioned that there is no revert after PUBG Mobile data is migrated to BGMI. In simple words, users will not be able to log in to the PUBG Mobile global version with their old account.

Additionally, the Data Transfer option is only valid till December 31st, 2021. While the process is pretty easy, it’s a bit time-consuming process. Eventually, you can get all the progress back in the brand new Battlegrounds Mobile India game.
