Blocky Racing Zips onto iOS and Android, and into Our Hearts, This Week

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Blocky Racing is a new kart racer speeding its way onto the App Store and Google Play this week. It’s a classic kart racer much in the same vein as Mario Kart—blow up your opponents and do whatever it takes to come out on top in every race.

Collect power-ups to unlock missiles and other explodey weapons, or give yourself a shield if you annoy too many of your opponents with your trigger happy tendencies. Your kart isn’t invincible, after all. You’ll lose blocks as you take damage until your little kart falls to pieces. No one said kart racing wasn’t risky business.

All of that addictive action plays out over 50 unique tracks, each with its own shortcuts and traps. Learn the ins and outs of each to get a competitive edge on your opponents. You’ll find each track has little nuances that you can use to your own advantage.

Unlock up to 16 different racers, each with their own distinct strengths and weaknesses. Slide around the track on a Snowmobile, or mix things up with the Rubber Ducky. You’ll have to experiment with each to find out which vehicle best suits your play style. Once you settle on one (or a few), upgrade your kart to help it become even more powerful.

You can try Blocky Racing for yourself right now on iOS and Android.
