505 Games has acknowledged the issues plaguing the Nintendo Switch release and recently issued a statement which confirmed that the game is going to get fixed as quickly as possible. Instead of releasing a big update later on, the development team is choosing to release multiple small updates frequently to address the most annoying issues.

Throughout the QA process we have been addressing performance issues in the game. Update 1.01 was published to Switch prior to launch to add content and improve performance. It did not accomplish as much as we had hoped and we need to do more.

To address the concerns brought up by the community we are immediately shifting resources to improve performance and stability for the Switch. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is now out on Nintendo Switch as well as on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
