Xiao, a five-star Anemo Polearm user, and one of the most sought after playable characters of Genshin Impact finally got his banner with the version 1.3 update. The Invitation to Mundane Life character event wish banner that featured Xiao released on February 3, 2021. At that point in time, players could have tried their luck with the banner to get Xiao. But since the banner is gone, new Genshin Impact players are wondering how they can get Xiao.

Character Event Wish banners in Genshin Impact are timed exclusives, and the main featured five-star characters in those banners are not available in the normal banner, Wanderlust Invocation. In the wake of that, many new players look out for different ways to get time exclusive characters like Xiao.
As of now, there is no other way to get Xiao in Genshin Impact. Though players should not worry, all the timed exclusive playable character banners come back with future updates. For example, Venti’s banner is rumoured to return with Genshin Impact 1.4 update. And, just like Venti, when Xiao’s banner makes its official return, players can perform wishes on the banner and get Xiao.

Now, assuming that Xiao’s banner is back. In that case, Genshin Impact players need Intertwined Fates to perform wishes. And, if you are lucky you will Xiao before pity and if it is the latter case, then getting Xiao will require a big chunk of Fates, or Primogems, or Genesis Crystals.
So, we recommend F2P(Free to Play players) that do daily commission, events, and other activities and save your Primogems, and when Xiao’s banner returns, use those Primogems to get him.
