Can you Auto-Save in Kirby and the Forgotten Land?

Auto-saving has been a feature that has been a part of games for decades, and is one of the most useful but overlooked aspects in any game, irrespective of the game’s genre or popularity. This would only make it more apparent if a game were missing such a nifty feature.

Just playing through an hour or two of Kirby and the Forgotten Land will soon have you realize that the game actually does not have a save feature! With that being the case, surely the game auto-saves whenever it’s necessary, doesn’t it?

Can you Auto-Save in Kirby and the Forgotten Land?

There is an Auto-Save feature in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which you will notice happening in the game which starts saving, a sign on the bottom-right of the screen that says ‟Saving…”. It usually happens after an important event, such as completing a stage in the main story of the game.

Auto-Save will take place once you complete a stage, including Treasure Road Challenges. It will automatically save any and all progress made inside the stage, such as all the Missions done, Figures collected, and various other collectibles and Star Coins obtained.

Doing any activity inside Waddle Dee Town will also save your progress automatically. Since there is no feature in the game to manually save your progress, you can use those activities in Waddle Dee Town to manually save before taking on a stage again, or if you want to turn the game off and take a break.
