Alpha Pokemon, which can be easily recognized by their huge size, glowing red eyes and increased hostility, can also be caught, although things are not as easy as they are with regular Pokemon.

Given their high combat capabilities, some players may want to catch them without having to fight them. Is it possible? Let’s find out.

Can You Catch Alpha Pokemon Without Battling in Pokemon Legends Arceus?

Alpha Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus can indeed be caught even without fighting them, but it is definitely not easy.

For starters, you will always have to catch them unaware, otherwise, they will come after you, forcing you to fight. You can do this by being stealthy, using the environment to your advantage, and employing your best Pokeball like the Ultra Ball.

Even with a powerful Ultra Ball, however, chances of capturing an Alpha Pokemon outside of battle aren’t the best. To increase them, you will have to try catching them while they are eating their preferred food. Any Pokemon has a certain preferred food, and making them eat it increases your chances of capture. All Pokemon in an evolution line share the same food, so use this information to your advantage to catch Alpha Pokemon without engaging them directly. It is difficult, and there is no real advantage, but it’s definitely doable and, most of all, fun.
