Unlike sharks and wolves in Fortnite, Butter Cake is not looking for a fight and won’t attack first, but some players are wondering if it is possible to kill Butter Cake anyway.

Is it Possible to Kill Butter Cake?

Honestly, why would you want to? This gentle giant is not hurting anyone and is pretty useful. You can use its blowhole to shoot you up into the air—a great way to get across the map! It is also possible to feed Klomberries to Butter Cake to receive a cool bit of loot.

Butter Cake can be attacked, but they will attack back! No matter the weapon used, you can only deal 1 point of damage, and all it does is make Butter Cake angry. And you won’t like them when they are angry!

Butter Cake will turn red with fiery eyes when it is hurt, and will charge forward to attack. It will stomp on you, and then throw three or four balls of lava towards you, dealing damage. They have no health bar, so it is pretty clear that there is no way to actually kill it. Perhaps it is not really worth firing upon Butter Cake.

After a while, Butter Cake will calm down, or you can encourage it to chill by feeding it some Klomberries. Think twice before attacking this gentle giant of a dino, because you will regret it!
