How to play Fortnite Rocket Racing on Android Mobile Devices

Like all the other main experiences in Fortnite, Rocket Racing is indeed available to play on mobile devices. And, it’s free-to-play, of course! The easiest way to get started with Fortnite on an Android mobile device is to download the Epic Games app, directly from the official website.

Head to the website and follow the on-screen instructions to install the Epic Games app and Fortnite. If you haven’t already, make sure to create an Epic Games account, which you can also do on the website.

Alternatively, if you own a Samsung Galaxy, you can download the Epic Games Store app on the Galaxy Store page.

Once you have downloaded Fortnite, log in with your Epic Games account and you should see Rocket Racing on the front page. Simply select it, join up with friends if you want, and start playing!

Because of the ongoing legal cases between Apple and Epic, Fortnite still hasn’t returned to the iOS App Store, which means you’ll need to turn to cloud-based gaming options to play Fortnite on iOS mobile devices. Note that these options also work on Android, if you prefer to play through the cloud. Here are your options:

• Xbox Cloud Gaming: Play through Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming service. A Microsoft account is required, but an Xbox Game Pass subscription is not required.
• GeForce NOW: Play through NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service, GeForce NOW. An NVIDIA account is required. Free accounts are limited to one-hour sessions before having to go back into the queue.
• Amazon Luna: Play through Amazon’s cloud gaming service, Amazon Luna. An Amazon Prime or Luna+ subscription is required.

Navigate to your platform of choice’s website through Safari on your iOS mobile device, and follow the instructions to get started. All three options require a stable, high-speed internet connection for a smooth experience. If your internet connection is unstable or slow, you may experience lag or connection issues when playing.

Fortnite features cross-saves and cross-platform progression, meaning all your stats and purchases and saved across devices. You can enjoy playing Fortnite on a PC or console, or on the go with your mobile device and retain all progression.
