Trading has always been a function of Pokemon games ever since their inception with Pokemon Red and Green, the Japanese releases representing Generation I. Since then, the trading function has seen its reappearance throughout every mainline series game, while making its entrance in Pokemon Legends: Arceus as well.
But word around the block says that in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Pokemon aren’t the only thing that you can trade, and that you will be able to trade items with other players in the game as well! So, can you trade items in Pokemon Legends Arceus? Read on to find out!
How to Trade Items in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?
While you can trade Pokemon at the Trade Post in Jubilife Village, you can also trade items there as well. But unlike Pokemon, items are not completely free to be traded amongst players.
In order to trade items, you will need a certain amount of Merit Points. The Merit Points’ primary function is to buy items from the Trading Post such as evolution stones or Rare Candies.
You obtain Trade Points by finding Satchels scattered throughout the Hisui region and returning them to the Lost and Found section in the Internet Connection menu.
Now that you know how to get Merit Points, you can access the Jubilife Village’s Trade Post and use your Points to trade your items away with other players. You need to choose whether you want to trade with someone locally, or online.
And that’s about it! All you need to know about trading items in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!
