Cannon Man Cheats: Tips & Strategy Guide to Reach Top Distances

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Cannon Man is a fun, yet apparently simple game in concept: you have to shoot your character from the cannon and go as far as possible. However, this is not extremely easy with all those obstacles in the way, so we’re here to help with a bunch of Cannon Man cheats and tips in our complete strategy guide.

Created by Neon Play, this easy to learn but difficult to put down game looks beautiful and plays without a problem. There’s not a lot that we can talk about when it comes to strategy and ways to improve your game, but there are a few things we might be able to help with.

So without further ado, here are some Cannon Man tips and tricks for you:

Launch straight from the middle
You get a perfect launch and a boost to your overall speed by tapping the screen when the cannon is in a vertical position, ready to launch your character in a straight line.

You should always try to launch at this point because you’ll get farther this way and you will also have more options when it comes to controlling where your guy will hit the ground, potentially opening the door to getting even farther.

Trampolines are your friends
The best items in the game are, without doubt, trampolines because if you land on one, you get an additional launch basically and you cover a huge extra distance. Keep landing on these in a row and you’ll hit insane distances!

Even better are the trampolines on top of the buildings. These skyrocket your character and give you an even better boost – but they’re usually hard to hit and most often than not you will end up finishing your flight prematurely if you try to go for them. But if you do hit them, it’s worth it!

However, if you really can’t land on a trampoline, try hitting anything else that will give you even a small boost, like the TNT crates scattered all over the way. These will only push your character a bit forward, but anything’s better than nothing. Plus, sometimes, you might end up in some interesting chain effects even from these minor boosts.

Swipe to control your character
When your character is in the air, you can control its movement by dragging your finger to either sides of the display. This is something you should always do in order to try and land on the trampolines. So learn to steer your guy!

The two Upgrade options
The money you earn with each launch give you the opportunity to invest in two upgrades: Power and Offline earnings.

You should always invest all your money in the first option when you’re playing the game, then spend everything you’ve got on the offline earnings when you’re about to leave. This way, you keep your earnings maxed up!

No Internet, no ads!
If the ads in between the stages annoy you, you can easily get rid of them by turning off the internet on your device.

Have in mind that if you turn off your WiFi or mobile internet, you will no longer be able to double your earnings by watching an ad. Also, it’s these advertisements that help the developers of the game put food on the table and encourage them to create more great games like this one… so try to brave the ads out in order to show them some appreciation!

This would be everything that we have in store for fellow Cannon Man players. But if you have any additional tips and tricks, don’t hesitate to share them with us by commenting below!
