The new update, named The Tale of Amatsu no Kuni, introduces content taken from the Sengoku Basara series, which is not particularly known in the West due to Capcom not localizing the latest entries in the series, and from Okami, the excellent action role-playing game originally released on PlayStation 2 years ago.

The new content brought by the update includes new cards, the Kami and Spirit tribes, the new Crush ability and the Red Hero Amaterasu, who comes with three Hero Arts.

If you want to learn more about the new TEPPEN update, you can take a look at the trailer below.

TEPPEN is now available as a free-to-play game on iOS and Android. It’s a great celebration of Capcom’s franchises, so make sure to give it a go if you love Street Fighter, Megaman, Darkstalkers, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, and all the other games released by the Japanese publisher.
