In our Cheech and Chong Bud Farm tips and tricks guide, we will go over the basics of this idle clicker game. Like most idle games, there is only a little bit of involvement, but there are some things you should keep in mind, so let’s get started with our Cheech and Chong Bud Farm cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide to making lots of cash!

Starting Your Business

At the beginning of an episode, you will always start out from square one. To start out, you will need to buy customers for your first business, the White Lotus Flower Shop. Customers will come automatically, and when the green ring above the shop fills up all the way, you can collect money.

You can then use that money to upgrade the shop and buy new customers using the yellow button. The more customers a shop has, the more money it will generate over time. Not only that, but every time you buy more customers the green bar will fill up – when you buy enough customers, it will be full and the shop will gain a temporary money multiplier, meaning more money!

Not only that, but you will also be rewarded with buds, a very important currency in the game. After a few times, the customer bar will stay filled, which indicates that this shop no longer has any more bonus items to give you, so you can move onto the next. Ideally, you want to try to max out every shop before you move on.

Completing Goals and Advancing Episodes

In every episode, you must complete a set of goals given to you at the beginning of the episode. The goals can be viewed at any time by simply looking at the top of the screen. Every goal you complete fills in one of the boxes at the top, and when all are filled you may trim, which starts the next episode.

Completing goals requires you to get a certain amount of buds, upgrade businesses, reach a certain amount of customers, and so forth. Just make sure to keep checking in our your business and collecting money, and you should able to complete the goals within a reasonable amount of time.

When you advance to the next episode, you get to trim your beautiful bud plant! You have to tap the screen as fast as possible, and the faster you tap the more bonus buds you will earn. You also earn bonus buds depending on your permanent bud bonus booster, which is determined by the amount of characters you own and their level. More on that later!

We have found that using three fingers work the best when rapid tapping, instead of just tapping fast with one finger. The game will register all three taps, so just tap as fast as you can to get lots of buds!

Automating Shops

In episode 3, Paco will join your cause. Paco has the ability to automate your businesses – when you assign him to a shop, he will collect the money when the gauge is full and the shop will continue to generate money without you having to check in manually.

Paco is a swell guy, so he will keep collecting money for you even when you are away from the game. In order to assign him to the better shops, Paco himself needs to be leveled up. Opening chests will contain a random amount of character cards, and when you have enough cards of the same character plus some buds, you can level up the character.

In Paco’s case, leveling up will increase your trimming bonus at the end of an episode and it lets him automate the higher up businesses. Eventually however, you will require additional characters to automate some businesses in the later episodes. Make sure you keep up with them and upgrade them whenever you can!

Upgrading Businesses

Each business in your town can be upgraded. You can access the building section by tapping the hammer icon at the bottom left. To upgrade a shop, you need the required amount of cards and a hefty amount of buds. Upgrading a shop will grant it a permanent cash multiplier, and unlike the customer boost, this multiplier lasts between episodes.

To get the cards and buds you need, just keep completing goals so that you can open more chests. To more buds, make sure you are maxing out your shops before you move onto the next episode to be as efficient as possible.

Upgrading Characters

Characters the life and blood of your business, and everything falls on them! There are different types of characters: some characters can automate businesses and some will help boost businesses. Upgrading a character will upgrade their potential in that regard.

For example, Prudence is stationed at the White Lotus shop when you unlock her for the first time. She will up the White Lotus multiplier to x9, but upgrading her will bump it up to a whopping x27!

As you can see, upgrading character is very important. Upgrading characters is similar to businesses – you have to get enough duplicate cards of the character, pay a bud fee, and then they are upgraded.

It is quite expensive to do this as you will probably be low on buds, which is why it is important to get as many free buds as possible when you are playing through the episodes.

Getting More Cards and Buds

Every time you complete a goal, you will earn a chest. There are bronze, silver, and gold chests, with gold chests having the best stuff in them. This is your main methd of getting new cards and buds, but there are other ways as well.

You can buy shop and character cards direcly from the shop. There are only three cards shown at a time, and they cycle out every few hours. You can only buy them with buds, but the shop is helpful if you are just a few cards off from an upgrade.

You can also get free cards from the Evidence Locker every four hours. You can also buy epic and legendary chests if you have enough gems, so we recommend saving your gems for these chests.

Most of the time, you will probably be short on buds when you are trying to upgrade something. You will have a lot of buds during the beginning episodes of the game, but they will slowly but surely start to slow down. Make sure that you upgrade wisely, because when you get to the point where you are awaiting for more buds, it is a very slow process.

So, in short: max out shops for the customer bonus and complete goals to open chests. Those are the sure fire ways to get more buds!
