This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Forget the grills and gadgets — Creature Quest has a few new ideas for celebrating Father’s Day this year. The game’s celebrating with a big event running now through June 26. Creature Quest has adopted a father-friendly appearance — Grumpy Pop’s Workshop — but the game’s also hosting a number of thrilling new events in honor of dads everywhere.

In the newest Event Quest, Apeasing Poppa, which is available until June 27, the Astral Watcher has appeared in the city with a terrifying threat. The Watcher must receive a fantastic gift or he will destroy the entire town. It’s up to you, dear adventurer, to find this rare gift and save the day. If you’re successful, you run the chance of capturing a Draconic Gallant or a Clockwork.

Those aren’t the only rare creatures to be had. This weekend only, from June 16 to 18, players can take part in the Pillaging Poppas Summon Event. It’s the perfect opportunity to beef up your collection. Each Diamond Summon during the event has the chance of offering up a Tool Box holding one of 10 exclusive Father’s Day Legendary Creatures. That includes the Astral Watcher, along with the Titan, Cyclops, Wizard or Marid. Epic Creatures abound, too — you may find a Gorgon, Walrus Rikishi, Ogre, Shard Golem, or War Elephant. Much like Father’s Day itself, it’s going to be an event you won’t want to forget.
