Crossy Road New Update Now Available, Includes New UK Themed Content

This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Crossy Road, the successful arcade game developed by Hipster Whale, has recently received a new update which adds new content to the game.

The new update comes with UK themed content such as typical UK vehicles like double decker buses and Royal Mail vans, as well as new characters like the Fox and others. Some of the new characters aren’t exactly UK themed, like the Llama, but this matters very little in a game as over the top as Crossy Road. To unlock these characters, players will have to use coins in the gachapon machine as usual or purchase them with real money.

Another Crossy Road update has been made available two months ago. This update has been released to celebrate the Chinese New Year and included new characters inspired by Chinese Zodiac signs like the Fortune Chicken and several others. Some neat graphical effects were also added as well as some unique items that were required to unlock one of the new secret characters.

Crossy Road is now available for download for free on the App Store. The game comes with some IAPs but they are in no way required to enjoy the game, as the extra characters can all be unlocked by simply playing the game.
