The biggest new addition of the update is support for MFi controllers. While the game works nicely with touch controls, it’s always good to have more options that can make the game more enjoyable for some.

Alongside MFi controllers support, the new Crossy Road update includes several new characters that can be unlocked and used in the game. This addition is hardly surprising, considering how many characters the game already features at this point but it’s always nice to get extra ones.

Crossy Road is an arcade game that’s been clearly influenced by a classic title, Frogger. In the game, players will have to cross dangerous roads with their characters, making sure to avoid getting hit by the many vehicles found in the game. The game doesn’t really have an end as players could potentially keep going on forever, another feature that makes the game quite engaging.

Crossy Road is now available for download for free on the App Store. The game comes with some IAPs but they are in no way required to enjoy the game, as the extra characters can all be unlocked by simply playing the game.
