Om Nom is finally ready to come back to eat more candies, meet new characters and explore new worlds beyond his usual, safe box.
Zeptolas has finally confirmed that Cut The Rope 2 is going to be released on December 19th on the App Store. The reveal comes directly from Zeptolabs’ CEO Misha Lyalin, who recently spoke with Polygon about the new game.
Even though a release date has finally been set, we still don’t know if the game is going to be a free to play game or a paid title.
The setting for the new Cut The Rope is going to be different from the past. Om Nom will be venturing outside his box in his adventure, something that should bring new gameplay situations.
Obviously the game will include new levels, characters and music tracks. Which is not telling us much, since no sane person would release a new game with older contents.
Cut The Rope isn’t the only game of the series currently available on the App Store. Gamers who have enjoyed the first game can also get Cut The Rope: Time Travel, which features more stages, more candies to eat, more ropes to cut.
Cut The Rope and Cut The Rope: Time Travel are now available on the App Store, playable on both iPhone and iPad. We’ll keep you updated as soon as something new comes in on the new game. A teaser trailer released some time ago for the game can be seen right below.
Cut The Rope 2 will launch on the App Store on December 19th. We’ll keep you updated as soon as new details emerge on game’s pricing.
