Darkness Rises is Nexon’s newest action RPG that features groundbreaking mobile graphics, fast-paced action RPG combat, and in-depth hero customization. Our Darkness Rises cheats and tips will help you master the combat and customization systems.
Darkness Rises is a heavy hitter, and there is a lot of stuff to do in the game. Of course, that means there is a lot to cover, so let’s get started with our Darkness Rises cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
Use your evasion skill often!
Each hero has their own unique way of dodging enemy attacks. For example, the Wizard can phase dash quickly to the side. Note that you do not actually need to be out of the way – as long as you are doing your evade animation, any attacks that come in contact with you will not damage you.
This is important when you are fighting against the bigger bosses in in your adventure (when the game starts to get actually challenging), so be sure to evade a lot. Your evade skill is on a half second cooldown so do not hesitate to use it. When bosses enrage, they become incredibly more dangerous so be on your guard and watch for evade moments!
Another important note is that one of the bonus objectives in the co-op dungeons is to avoid getting hit too many times, or getting knocked down. This is when your evasion skill really shines!
Complete the Daily and Weekly Missions!
Daily Missions, as the name suggests, are sets of missions that rotate out on a daily basis. They will ask you to do simple things like complete a gold dungeon, open a weapon/armor chest, or complete a weekly mission.
Each mission is worth a certain amount of “activity points”. You can see how many points you have by the meter at the bottom. At certain thresholds, you can claim a nice reward, like gold, skill points, and even gems.
You should try to complete the whole set of daily missions before the day is over. In addition to that, you also have Weekly Missions. Unlike Daily Missions, you need to manually accept a Weekly Mission before you can complete it.
You must complete them in order, so be sure to check back and start a new mission. Just like the Daily Missions, you are awarded activity points, but you also receive experience and gold on the spot.
Because these require a lot more investment to finish, Weekly Missions can get you some really neat stuff. You can get polish chests, gems, upgrade stone chests, and more, so they are just as worth doing.
Use Rage Skills often!
As you learned in the tutorial, Rage Skills are essentially finishers that can immediately take out a critically injured enemy. The best part is that they can be used on bosses, and this technique is essentially to clearing missions under the star time later on.
As you defeat enemies, your rage meter will fill up and once it is full you can unleash a Rage Skill. Saving it for bosses and minibosses is a good idea, but it is ok to unleash it as much as you like – it charges up pretty fast anyways!
Here’s a small tip: the color of the Rage Skill button will denote what your skill will target. If it is light blue, you will rage on a regular enemy. Yellow is a mini boss, and red is the main boss.
Keep your Blacksmith busy!
In addition to his fusing capabilities, the Blacksmith can also produce polish for you. Polish, when fused with gear, grants 1.5x more experience than fusing with regular gear – it is helpful for leveling up your gear quickly.
You can queue up a polish for the Blacksmith to make, but bear in mind is takes a whole day to complete. With that said, make sure that you have polish queued up at all times.
Repeat levels for essence stones!
Certain essence stones only drop on certain levels, and you can see which ones specifically by tapping the “Source” button when inspecting a stat on your hero. For example, the Light Essence only drops on the fifth level of a stage – stage 1-5, 2-5, and so forth. If you need a specific essence, make sure to farm the level.
If you manage to three star a level, you will be able to use Clear Tickets to instantly run the stage and get the rewards. You can also do “Repeat Battle,” which makes your hero automatically run through the same stage over and over again until you stop it. This is helpful if you are busy with something else and you want to farm a certain stage.
