Dead Cells is among the most interesting indie games released last year on Nintendo Switch, PC and other consoles, and it seems like things are about to get more interesting in the near future.
Developer Motion Twin has confirmed in a brand new video shared by red Bull Gaming that a huge DLC pack is getting released for free sometime this year. The DLC has actually been in the works for nine months, and it’s being built to give more depth to the Dead Cells’ end game. It will add new biomes, bosses, enemies, weapons and more.
Those lucky enough to attend PAX East in Boston from March 28th to March 31st will also be able to try out the DLC before anyone else.
Dead Cells is a Metroidvania game which brings roguelike features to the formula, such as ever-changing stages, though but fair combat, nonlinear progression and a lot of secrets.
Dead Cells is now available on Nintendo Switch as well as on other gaming platforms. We will let you know more about the DLC as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
