Design a Lords Mobile Castle Skin for Make A Wish

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

When it comes to Christmas, Lords Mobile developer IGG is more about giving than receiving.

After all, IGG has received a lot of great stuff over the years, including bags and bags of cash, so now the company is giving some of that cash away to the excellent Make A Wish International.

And you’ve got a part to play by designing a castle based on the theme “Childhood Playground”.

You can design your castle any way you like as long as you don’t plagiarize anybody’s work or infringe anybody’s copyright (so probably best to avoid basing it on the Disney logo). Once you’re done, you can submit your entry through the event page as a .jpg or .png no larger than 10MB.

If your design makes it past the review stage you’ll get a Finalist Award, while the winner will be chosen through a public vote. The winning design will then form the basis of an official Castle Skin, which will be available to buy. All profits for the first two weeks will go to Make A Wish International.

In addition, IGG will give the charity $10,000 for every 100,000 new Instagram followers it gains during the submission period, which ends on the 23rd.

Voting takes place between the 26th and 31st of December, with the winning design to be unveiled in the new year.

You’ve almost certainly heard of the Make A Wish Foundation. Founded back in 1980, the charity works to fulfil the wishes of children with critical or terminal illnesses. So far the charity has granted more than 480,000 wishes, from feeding tigers to riding through the mountains in a cable car.

So get drawing  – the next wish could be on you. Read more on the Lords Mobile Instagram post.

And in case you don’t have the game already, make sure to download it from the App Store, Google Play or Steam.
