Devil May Cry 5 May Release On Nintendo Switch If Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Sells Well

Devil May Cry 5 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. While a Nintendo Switch release has yet to be announced, it seems like the possibility of such a release rests on the performance of an upcoming title published by Capcom.

Speaking with German magazine M!, Devil May Cry 5 director Hideaki Itsuno revealed that Devil May Cry 5 may be considered for Nintendo Switch is Dragon Dogma’s: Dark Arisen sells well on the console.

Hideaki Itsuno also revealed why the game wasn’t announced for Nintendo Switch in the first place. Development began before the team had access to Switch development kits. Not surprising, considering the game has been in development long before the Nintendo Switch had even been announced.

Devil May Cry 5 is a return to form for the series. The game starts Nero and Dante once again as well as new character V. All three characters are playable in the game’s main campaign, and their unique fighting styles make the game feel incredibly varied.

Devil May Cry 5 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in all regions.
