Diablo II Resurrected: How to Defeat Baal

Diablo II Resurrected features so many powerful enemies that is difficult to say which one is the strongest, but there is no doubt that Baal is among them. Hardly surprising, considering he is the Lord of Destruction and the game’s final boss.

How to Defeat Baal

Before you are able to fight Baal, you will have to defeat five waves of his minions, which shouldn’t be too difficult to take down if you have had no trouble dealing with the enemies in the final act.

Once the final wave of enemies has been defeated, you can take Baal on directly. His attacks have a variety of elemental properties, so you should bring gear that can defend you against Fire, Cold, and Lightning. For the rest, bring as many potions as you can to restore your health and mana as needed.

While you are fighting against Baal, you will also have to deal with a couple more annoyances. At times, the Lord of Destruction will summon tentacles that will get in your way, and you should focus on them as soon as they appear. Additionally, Baal will also create a copy of himself with the same stats and health as the original. Thankfully, the clone has way lower defense and takes way more damage, so can focus on it to get rid of it quickly if you so desire, or continue attacking the real Baal to end the fight altogether. if the Lord of Destruction is already low on health. You can tell which one is the clone by checking out his name and type as you fight: if the text aligns, it’s the clone.
