Diablo II Resurrected is all about loot, but this doesn’t mean that you need to be extremely lucky to be able to get all of the best items available in the game. Quite early during the campaign, the game provides you with a very important item called the Horadric Cube which allows you to combine different types of items to get some brand new ones.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Horadric Cube and how it can help you during your adventure.
What’s the Horadric Cube in Diablo II Resurrected?
The Horadric Cube is a very useful item that lets you combine different items to produce brand new ones. You will find this item during Act 2 of the campaign, and it’s impossible to miss, as you need to use it to progress in the campaign.
The Horadric Cube is found during the Horadric Staff quest in the Halls of the Dead. While exploring the dungeons’ third level, you will encounter a unique monster called Bloodwitch the Wild. Once defeated, you will be able to open a treasure chest that contains the Cube. Right after picking it up, you will have to use it a couple of times to create items that are needed to progress the story. Think of this as some training before you can take the wheels off and create unique items yourself.
How to Use the Horadric Cube
The Horadric Cube, as already mentioned, can fuse items together, but not all items can be fused. You can use it, for example, to combine arrows to create bigger quivers and save inventory space, or to create better gemstones by fusing together incomplete pieces. The Horadric Cube is also used to upgrade runes, so it’s a very important item to have and use if you’re trying to create builds capable of surviving the higher difficulty levels.
Additionally, the Horadric Cube can also be used to slightly expand storage space. The Cube itself only requires 4 slots, but you can store up to 12 slots of items inside, so no matter what are your goals in Diablo II Resurrected, you would do great in always bringing this handy item with you.
