Just like in the previous games, Splatoon 3 features a fun little food truck in the middle of Splatsville. Players can redeem special tickets they earn from Turf Wars here for some delicious grub that grants them temporary buffs for the next couple of battles. Today, we’re going to answer the question: Do team tickets stack in Splatoon 3?
Splatoon 3 Food Buffs and Stacking Explained
Hungry Inklings and Octolings looking for a fresh bite to eat can head over to the Crab-N-Go, Splatsville’s most popular food truck. You’ll have to pay tickets to grab a bite, but you’ll be granted special buffs for a set amount of battles.
You can get either food or drinks, both costing their own set of tickets. Food items can increase the amount of cash or experience you get after a battle. Here are all the food effects:
- Crab Trap Sandwich: 50% more cash from battles.
- Commercial Crab Trap Sandwich: Double cash from battles.
- The Pescatariat: 50% more experience from battles.
- The Pescatariat Royale: Double experience from battles.
- Mega Mountain a la Marigold: Double cash from battles. Applies to your entire team.
- Marigold’en Garden Greens: Double experience from battles. Applies to your entire team.
You’ll notice that some meals have the same type of effect, just with varying effectiveness that may or may not apply to your team. It can be a little confusing, but it’s important to keep in mind that the same team ticket food effects don’t stack.

Say, for example, you purchase a Commercial Crab Trap Sandwich, which nets you double cash. If one of your teammates buys a Mega Mountain a la Marigold, the effects will NOT stack. You will not get quadruple cash, unfortunately.
In this same case, if you had bought the regular Crab Trap Sandwich instead, it would also not stack with the Mega Mountain a la Marigold. Another rule to keep in mind is that the food effect with the highest strength takes precedence, so you would only be benefiting from the Mega Mountain a la Marigold.
However, different food effects can be active at the same time. If you were to buy a Mega Mountain a la Marigold, and one of your teammates buys the Marigold’en Garden Greens, both double experience and cash would be active.
Drinks are a whole separate category, and since all of them only have individual effects, they’re active no matter what food items you have on. Get your drink on!
